The Emporium in Bangkok

The Emporium is a great building, the Emporium Shopping Complex and the Emporium Department Store buildings. Is located on Sukhumvit Road between Soi 24 and Benjasiri Park in Bangkok, Thailand. Homes and offices are adjacent to the shopping area. E 'place in the luxurious and expensive of its kind in Bangkok and Thailand high society are on display here.

It has some good chances, as expected, particularly in the textile house, books in English, homeEquipment and sporting goods. For fun, there is a cinema, a five-screen in 6 Plan of the commercial complex work. It includes digital, standard and 3D screens.

Asia is a library books in English that offers a 10% discount for members. The cost for membership a year ago when I bought it was 200 baht. This is a single payment time. The library is on 3 floors of commercial complex. A second English-language bookshop on the same floor is Kinokuniyahas a better selection, but not a discount. From time to time hold sales of discount Kinokuniya book less popular.

The Wi-Fi systems in the commercial center are poor. Truewifi unreliable and working in all parts of the shopping complex. Truewifi sells Wi-Fi-Equity month to 500 baht, which they say can be used all over Bangkok. This was not my experience. "Reviews of the seller depending on whether you can buy membership to the Emporium orIf you go to Siam Paragon. Truewifi is best avoided.

AIS, the telephone company, AIS has to do hotspots, working on their positions hotspot. However, there are large areas of the shopping complex, where AIS is not working. People pay about 900 baht for one months access to hotspots around Bangkok have AIS. I do not think it worth the money personally. There are many hotspots AIS and their hotspot areas are generally small. There are vast areas of shoppingComplex in the AIS-Fi hotspots can not be used.

The first three times or so I came to the Emporium, I lost my way. Almost in a panic. There seemed no end to the problems at the back entrance to find a way to Sukhumvit Road. I was not able to communicate that I was lost. I could not explain where I wanted to go to Thai. Despite the high number of foreigners who are a seller very simple or non-existing knowledge of English.

Perhaps it should be a GPS system accordingfor new customers on the Emporium. Or the maps easier to read, with their position within the building. However, once you've visited many times, like today, everything seems fine.

The Emporium has many shops, but I only visited a few so far. These stores may not be typical. After examining some of them. Mandarin Oriental is a coffee shop on the 4th Floor. It charges a premium price. A cup of coffee is more than 125 baht. This is about four dollars. Coffeeof poor quality. The shop is often sold out of several lines of food products from only 3 clock, despite the opening until at least 9 of the clock. The service is excellent, if you are sitting in line-of-sight to the counter in front. This can be good or bad, depending on personal preference. Some people do not like to be disturbed while reading, eating, O.

This coffee is a good selection of English-language newspapers such as the International Herald Tribune, The Bangkok Post and The Nation.Surprisingly, they have Wi-Fi Internet. If you ask, is rejected by their strengths of a wager. Without Wi-Fi and expensive Mandarin Oriental Store is not recommended.

Starbucks has an outlet in the 4th floor commercial complex, and a socket for installing the 2nd floor between the center and Suites Emporium. Coffee is expensive for Thailand. Do you have a Wi-Fi hotspot called KC, which costs 120 baht per hour. The coffee is not great andYou pay about 90 baht for a cappuccino. The Starbucks outlet in the shopping complex has no sockets, which is surprising, with its very high cost for the Internet. Starbucks Emporium is not recommended if you use a computer.

The Coffee Shop Whittard ground floor of the shopping complex is located on the same bank of escalators, the cinema. Did the Wi-Fi and low prices for coffee, tea and dinner. Wi-Fi Internet is available in blocks of 30 minutes. A block isas a rule with a purchase of food or drink. A regular customer is more time on the Internet. Be careful, because there is no warning before the time runs out. The login process is quite long. I like the tea and muffins here. The staff is friendly. With Wi-Fi, Whittard is recommended.

One of the most extraordinary events for the Emporium is a shop that has real gold. I find this quite bizarre. Of all the shops you get a high-end shopping center wantAsia, a store of gold would close at the top of the list.

The Emporium is a highly recommended shop. But it is not the best value in Bangkok. Have a connection to the Skytrain 2nd floor of the commercial, which is very convenient. Skytrain station is Phoma Phrong. You can take the Siam Skytrain station, and you can directly go to Siam Paragon. I think, Siam Paragon is a better price. However, visitors can expect good EmporiumService, high prices, top-end products, and a wide selection ... but not a store of gold!
